PURPOSE: Garlic Gard is a foliar-applied
insect repellent which is absorbed and systematically
distributed throughout the plant. This process
causes biochemical changes in the foliage of the
plant which actively repels insects.
COMPOSITION: Concentrated 100%
garlic oil extract.
APPLICATION RATE: Use 6-12 oz.
of product diluted in water to treat one acre.
Shake or stir product prior to mixing.
APPLICATION METHOD: Apply dilute
product as a spray or fog to foliage of plants,
shrubs, trees, brush, and turf areas prior to
times when insects are anticipated. Small spray
droplet size is most effective. Wet plants to
the point of run-off.
For best results, do not apply 12 hours prior
to rainfall or irrigation. Spray timing should
be during periods when temperatures are between
60-90 degrees F, to maximize foliar uptake. Use
of a natural surfactant to increase foliar contact
may enhance performance. Avoid spraying with excessively
hard water, spray oils, or paraffin based
